Atonement (2007) Beach At Dunkirk Long Steadycam Shot
Posted by Grant on Saturday Jan 14, 2012 Under DocumentaryA continuous 5 minutes 30 second shot done by Steadicam operator Peter Robertson using a 50 pound camera/stabilizer rig, covering approximately a quarter mile on sand, steps, and various obstacles all to the choreography of about 1300 people. Oh, and all this while pulling focus. The shot was done in 4 takes, the third making final cut.
